International Spiritual Leader Coming to OjaiAnand Krishna, a highly-esteemed spiritual leader in Indonesia, will be speaking in Ojai on September 9th and 11th in the geodesic dome at Soul Centered, a Metaphysical Shoppe, in Ojai. This is Krishna’s first visit to the US. The spiritual teacher is very popular throughout Indonesia, where he is known to millions as a very public and outspoken speaker, as well as the head of two ashrams, and a healing/spiritual center in Bali. Krishna’s primary message is Love. He believes that, regardless of religion…or whether or not a person even believes in God, that the world can come together peacefully thru opening their hearts to feel this loving emotion. “I would say that the generic word for God is love,” said Krishna. “When you do that (when you are loving), you are being conscious. You are being conscious of your environment, and you are being conscious of anything that you do.” Krishna’s visit to Ojai has been made possible in part thru the diligence of Ojai resident, Marilyn Salas. Marilyn first met Krishna in the early 1990s, and she credits Krishna for helping her find her true calling in life. “When I met Krishna in 1993, he told me I was a healer,” said Marilyn. “I am deeply grateful for his opening the door to my own awareness about this beautiful gift of love’s healing energy that flows thru my heart and my hands.” Today Marilyn has her own healing practice based in Ojai (www.ojaihealingcircle.com).
